Sarah Yearwood

Sarah Yearwood has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and serves as Vice President of Reinsurance at Sutton National, where she is responsible for structuring and executing reinsurance programs that support underwriting strategy and portfolio performance.

She brings experience across global reinsurance markets, with expertise in property reinsurance, parametric solutions, and multi-line exposures, including energy and specialty risks. She has a strong track record of designing reinsurance structures that align risk transfer with capital efficiency and support portfolio optimization.

Prior to joining Sutton National, Sarah held senior roles in reinsurance broking at Guy Carpenter and Aon, advising carriers, MGAs, and institutional clients on complex risk and capital strategies. She also served as Director of Ceded Reinsurance for Lloyd’s Syndicate 1200, where she led the design and placement of the syndicate’s reinsurance programs.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Political Economy from the University of Puget Sound.
